📐

Three sort orders

Re-rank by longest word, alphabetical order, or highest Scrabble-style points — instantly.

Common questions.

Does this work offline?

Yes — the entire dictionary lives in the app, so searches don't need a network connection. Looking up a definition opens your browser, which does.

Why do my searches sometimes show fewer words than I expect?

Each word source uses a different dictionary. If you want the broadest results, switch to "All". Collins is the next-broadest and matches what most online word games accept.

How are points calculated?

Points use the standard Scrabble letter values (A=1, B=3, … Q=10, Z=10). They're a guide for word strength, not a Letterpress score.

How do I remove ads?

Tap Remove Ads under the banner. It's a one-time purchase and restores across your devices using the same Apple ID. The macOS version doesn't show ads at all.

Is the macOS version the same app?

Same code, same word database, same shortcuts. The macOS version doesn't show ads — Google Mobile Ads doesn't ship a macOS slice — so the Remove Ads UI is hidden there too.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Open the menu (top-right) and tap Send Feedback. The form includes optional email if you want a reply, and attaches version info automatically. You can also email us at [email protected].
